An Update on Lakeland Haunted House
Our 2026 season is canceled
Lakeland Haunted House will not open for the 2026 season, including After Dark and family-friendly experiences.
Following our most recent discussion with the Lakeland Fire Department, we determined that we do not have enough time before our planned opening day to complete the updates needed to meet the fire-code requirements for a haunted house.
Although our facility operates as an entertainment and amusement venue, a haunted house has additional fire-code requirements. The safety of our guests, volunteers, and team comes first.
We sincerely appreciate the Lakeland Fire Department’s collaboration, clear communication, and willingness to work with us toward bringing an amazing experience to our community.
Ticket refunds
Refunds will be issued for tickets purchased for the 2026 haunted house.
Food drive
The food drive planned in conjunction with this year’s haunted house will not continue.
Looking ahead to 2027
We intend to return in 2027. Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s plans, purchased tickets, offered to volunteer, or helped spread the word. We’re disappointed we won’t be welcoming you this October, and we appreciate your understanding.
